an enlightenment:
even those living through words
are -
sometimes
lost for words.
for there are -
one would be
surprised (!)
things (well, not really things, but something else)
which are so deep
that no -
words
could
ever
reflect

Thanks for visiting. I'm khulud, a feminist Palestinian writer living in Haifa. Here I share my experiences within broader socio-political contexts. I play around with poetry, and publish fragments of fiction-in-progress. My first novel, Haifa Fragments, is available from Spinifex Press (Australia) and New Internationalist (UK)
you might not finding words for many reasons not necessarily just because it is so deep. i think you are in some sort of idealisation of words
ReplyDeletethe first thing they teach in "introduction to poetry" is that the "writer" is always at least one degree separated from the "speaker" of the poem. In other words, the "I" of the poem is NEVER EVERY the writer. Never assume that the "speaker" is the "writer." They are two different, separate personas. Hope this helps you with the rest of the poems...
